あずまんが大王（youtubeアニメモ＠）
とある共学の高等学校を舞台にした学園物コメディで、登場人物の多くは女子高生である。この作品に特定の主人公は存在しない。
連載中、作中の時間の流れは現実の時間の流れとリンクしており（春には学年が上がり、秋には運動会・文化祭があるなど）、メインキャラクターの高校入学から物語りは始まり、高校生活3年間が終了すると同時に作品も完結した。
大仰なタイトルとは裏腹に、簡略化された線と抑え気味の演出で進行する。笑いのポイントを意図的にずらすこともよく行なわれ、ベタとシュールの間を行ったり来たりする独特の空気感がある。
斎藤環が「この作品で『萌え』を理解した」と著書で述べるなど、萌え4コマ漫画のメルクマールとされ、後の萌え4コマ雑誌創刊ラッシュの遠因とする意見がある。
2000年末にアニメ化され、インターネット上だけで有料ストリーミング放送が行われた。しかし、代金（200円）の支払いは電子マネーのみでの取り扱いのほかブロードバンドがほとんど普及していなかった当時の状況もあってか、この時は第1話だけで終わってしまい、3か月後にはその公開も終了した。出典: フリー百科事典『ウィキペディア（Wikipedia）』
youtubeアニメモ＠管理人はこのアニメのオープニングテーマである「空耳ケーキ」が好きです。なんとなく耳に残ると言うか・・・(^^;
上記にあるように特定の主人公は存在しないです。実際にありそうで、実はありえないような学園生活というところが面白いです(^O^)
ホントになんというかほのぼのとしたアニメなんですよね～
ボケボケしたキャラが最高ですね～！
youtubeアニメモ＠管理人はなんとなーく肩肘張らずにダラーっと観れるこのアニメが大好きですねぇ。
あんまり一記事が長くなるのも困りものなのですが、結構あずまんが大王はyoutubeでもいっぱい動画があります。

| Crashed at Anime Wasabi |
Part of the super late long lost AW 2008 videos. o.O I recently found them again while cleaning out a folder. Anyways! This one’s just random. My friend and I (cosplaying Alice from Shadow Hearts and Sakaki from Azumanga Diaoh) on Saturday, crashed out on one of the couches. We hit a random sleepy spell and just…died for about a half hour. No idea where the rest of our buddies are here. They joined us again later. We spent a good while on that couch that afternoon actually…xD You hear me babble about a Rinoa cosplayer too. I kinda stutter when I say her name. xD I dunno if Jennifer (my friend) did something to make me pause a sec or if I was just having a dumb moment. Walu = Water in Jennish (the decided language of the random words in our group of friends)
